MEHGAN ARMSTRONG

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Mehgan Armstrong is the Director of Operations at DeGeorge & Polverini Law, where she oversees the day-to-day functions of the firm to ensure seamless workflows, exceptional client service, and operational efficiency. With a strong background in client relations and administrative management, Mehgan plays a key role in coordinating internal processes, supporting the legal team, and driving strategic initiatives that support the firm's growth.

Originally from Elyria, OH, and raised in Avon, Mehgan graduated summa cum laude from Cleveland State University in May 2021, earning dual Bachelor’s Degrees in Psychology and Criminology. She completed her undergraduate studies in just three years—a testament to her drive, discipline, and commitment to excellence.

RITA ALVARENGA

PARALEGAL

Rita Alvarenga was born in Puerto Rico and raised in Bronx, New York. Rita’s mom did not allow her to speak English in the home and now she is fluent in Spanish. When Rita was a child, she always spoke up for others and defended those who could not defend themselves. It is no surprise that she chose a field where she could continue being a people’s advocate. Rita Alvarenga has been a paralegal for 19 years. She began her career in New York, New York where she started as a support paralegal and worked her way up to trial paralegal. Rita has experience in many areas of law which include Mass Tort Litigation, Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury. As a litigation paralegal, Rita works tirelessly with her attorneys to ensure the best possible outcome for her clients.

KATHRYN ARENDASH

LEGAL ASSISTANT

Kathryn Arendash is a dedicated professional from Northeast Ohio, driven by a passion for helping others navigate the complexities of Civil Litigation. Raised in West Cleveland, she graduated from Elyria Catholic High School before pursuing her studies at Gannon University in Erie, PA. It was during her time at Gannon that Kathryn discovered her calling to law, realizing that her true passion lay in supporting individuals through legal challenges. Her career was shaped by an insightful internship with Honorable Judge John J. Trucilla, where she gained valuable experience in the courtroom and honed her skills. Kathryn’s work is marked by a deep commitment to her clients, always advocating for their best interests with diligence and compassion.
